About the Pageant Director

Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino has been involved with acting, modeling and pageantry since she was born. She has been in hundreds of television commericals, print ads, magazines and billboards. She was Miss Iowa Teen in 1988 and Mrs. Maine in 2006. Elizabeth was also Mrs. Cumberland County International and Mrs. Truckee International. She has been a television reporter/anchor in both Iowa and Maine. Currently, Elizabeth is the Vice President of Administration and Client Relations for Dow Investment Group in addition to being the Director of the Mrs. Maine United States Pageant.

Elizabeth is married to Peter R.Guarino, Esq. of Foreside Financial Group . Elizabeth and Peter own the Maine Cookie Company, which has donated over 65,000 cookies to kids across the country since 2002 in support of their reading program "Be a Smart Cookie-Read". They are alsoactively involved with the Ronald McDonald House.

The Guarino's currently reside in Falmouth with their four boys.
